Dinner at the hotel's restaurant was a culinary highlight, featuring the succulent chianina meat grilled to perfection—truly unforgettable! The rooftop terrace with a breathtaking view of the town made breakfast even sweeter, especially with the variety of homemade cakes and local delights.

Getting to the reception required climbing quite a few steps from the piazza, and the locked gate to the rooms needed extra caution from guests, making us just a tad uneasy with our baggage on the last day.

Communication was seamless with the staff, and the room was immaculate with comfy bedding and luxurious artisanal soaps. The breakfast spread impressed with its variety, but getting to the hotel by car posed a challenge due to limited parking options. While finding the hotel can be tricky, the charming, safe surroundings certainly made up for it.

This place is fantastic for families! The breakfast up on the rooftop was an absolute highlight, complete with stunning views and truly friendly service. Plus, it was great that they accommodated our small dog during our stay, making everything feel more family-friendly.

My kids wished for more playful activities around the hotel.

la fortezza is right in the heart of town, which made exploring so easy for us! our economy double room was perfectly clean and cozy. we loved the breakfast on the outdoor terrace—it was the perfect way to start our day. the taxi service from the train station was a lifesaver, making our arrival smooth and stress-free.

i would say the only hassle was finding parking, but it was totally worth it.

In addition, the helpfulness of Jenny, who manages the hotel, stands out as a significant benefit during my trip.
